KÄÄPÄ Biotech is growing, and we are looking for a ERP & Master Data Specialist to take a key role in developing the systems and data foundation behind our operations.
Our ERP environment is becoming increasingly central to how we manage production, inventory, purchasing, traceability and operational reporting. We are looking for someone who can combine ERP expertise, manufacturing process understanding and strong data discipline — and help us build scalable ways of working as the company grows.
This is not an IT infrastructure or software-development role. You will work at the intersection of business processes, ERP, master data and operations, collaborating closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance.
What you will do
- Take a leading role in developing operational ERP practices and master-data governance
- Create, maintain and validate critical operational master data, including products, materials, BOMs, recipes, routings and planning parameters
- Establish clear processes for creating, approving and changing master data
- Analyse ERP and data-related issues affecting production, purchasing, inventory and reporting
- Translate operational requirements into clear ERP-development needs
- Coordinate ERP improvements with internal stakeholders and external ERP partners
- Lead user testing and support controlled implementation of new functionality
- Develop data-quality controls, reports and exception monitoring
- Train and support ERP users across the organisation
- Drive consistent ERP usage and reduce manual spreadsheets, duplicate data and informal workarounds
- Support in administrative tasks and work together with e.g. finance in reports related to inventory management, production costs etc
What we are looking for
- Strong experience in ERP, master data, manufacturing, supply chain or related operational systems
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material flows, inventory and production structures
- Experience with BOMs, routings, MRP and production parameters
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical ERP solutions
- Experience in ERP development, implementation or testing projects
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence working practices across functions
- Fluent English
- Experience with Odoo, food or biotechnology manufacturing, traceability and batch-controlled production is a strong advantage
